Looking to host your small company, organization, department, or your colossal team? Try a team-building session at The Virginia Axe Company! Our spacious indoor facility spans an impressive 3,000 sq ft range, which can accommodate up to 75 throwers in all, and it is temperature controlled for your comfort year-round. Our facility has ample space for your staff/co-workers to enjoy the throwing activities and still has some idle space to take a break when they want. The range also sports a small galley area with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase. You are welcome to bring your own food platters and nonalcoholic beverages to liven up your event. Catering is also allowed on site and if you would like a recommendation, drop us a line!
Our Team Building sessions run for a base length of two hours. If you would like a shorter or longer session (we do recommend our base two-hour session or extending to a two-and-a-half- hour session, to ensure your team has plenty of time to enjoy throwing and games) please contact us, and we will be more than happy to tailor your session time to your needs.
We do allow alcohol on site, but only if you have purchased a Temporary Banquet License from the Virginia ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control). The process usually has a wait time of a week and a fee for the noted license. When you arrive, you must have the actual license paper in hand and our manager must receive it at the start time of your event. If you do not have a Temporary Banquet License as the customer, no alcohol is allowed or imbibed in our range! This is for everyone's safety and accountability. Your event will be hosted by a team of our throwing coaches. They will guide you through safe and effective techniques, suggest a friendly game or two, and ensure a fun and enjoyable experience while maintaining a high level of safety throughout your two-hour session.
For an even more unforgettable experience, don’t forget to inquire or sign up for our Ultimate Throwers Package, for added throwing enjoyment! With the Ultimate Throwing package, you will also throw other weapons like spears, knives, throwing cards, or ninja stars.
Below you will find our pricing brackets to help you plan your event.
Groups up to 30 persons- $35 per person
Groups of 31 to 40 persons- $30 per person
Groups of 41 to 75- $25 per person
For groups that want a two-and-a-half-hour session, an additional 35% will be added instead of the 20%. A closing to the public fee of $500 is available for groups of up to 40 people, who would like to have all the fun our range offers to themselves! For events with 41 persons and over, we will close our doors to the public for no extra charge.

If you need to alter, change or cancel your reservation, please contact us ASAP!
Closed toe shoes are mandatory for all active throwers. (We offer temporary Crocs onsite if you forget)
Dress comfortably for activity, avoid any clothing that restricts your movement.
To aid in quicker check-in times for your reservation, please fill out the waiver online that is sent with your reservation's email confirmation.
Kids ages 12 and up are always welcome to throw! Any youth under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian with them.
Should you get hungry or thirsty during your session, we stock a selection of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.
